Protagonist: Apollonios is strategos of the Apollonopolites Heptakomias and has a regular correspondence with this hometown Hermopolis, where live his wife Aline, his daughter Heraidous and his mother Eudaimonis. He was active at the time when Hadrianus succeeded Traianus as emperor and when a revolt of the Jews took place in Egypt.
