| Publications: | The museum owns a hieratic book of the dead (1st cent. AD), a few fragments in Aramaic, one fragmentary papyrus of Homer and some small fragments of papyrus. There is also a group of ostraca, belonging to the archive of a Roman army camp near Thebes. The ostraca of the university of Amsterdam (O. Amsterdam) are now also kept in the Allard Pierson Museum. |
