Etruscan

TM Language id: 24

Language family and branch: Isolate, Tyrsenian

Link(s): Glottolog, Wikipedia (language), Wikipedia (script)

Etruscan is a linguistic isolate written in an alphabet with the same name derived from Western Greek.

Trismegistos should have almost all Etruscan texts, on the basis of a cooperation with Gerhard Meiser's new edition (2014) of Rix, Etruskische Texte, who made available a preliminary version of his manuscript to us. There seems to be no database of Etruscan at present.
