previously also TM 28690 (joined)
Provenance: Soknopaiou Nesos (Dimeh) - Egypt (EgyptThe Egyptian nome ca. 3rd cent. BC - AegyptusThe Roman provincia ca. 2nd cent. AD) [found & written]
Language/script: Greek, drawing
Material: papyrus
Book form: roll
Content (beta!): school text, combination of mathematics (5 geometry problems) and literature (Homeric passages and 2 conversion problems)
Culture & genre: literature, science — anthology?, poetry, epic, mathematics, geometry + philology, paraphrase (religion: classical)
Recto/Verso: Ro
Reuse type: complicated: palimpsest new, other text(s) on the same object: TM 90816
Reuse note: the original papyrus has been split in two single pieces - presumably for the latest reuse as school text (TM 60599). The cut runs straight through a Demotic column on the Vo. The present / visible Greek text on the Ro seems to be a palimpsest new, but nothing is visible of the palimpsest old. The original text on the Ro seems to be washed off later after the blank side of the Vo was reused by the Demotic text (TM 90816).
Note: school text; with drawings
