A fourth volume of 38 Greek Hamburg papyri is in preparation by B. Kramer and D. Hagedorn. A catalogue and publication of the remaining demotic papyri, mostly from the Fayum area, is being prepared by C. La'da, who will also publish the 34 most interesting items; cf. The collection consists of about 1000 papyri :Greek and Latin (782 papyri inventoried, of which ca. 450 are still unpublished), Demotic 53 papyri), Coptic (16 unpublished papyri) and Arabic (80 papyri, 52 paper documents, 1 parchment and 1 text on linen), and 6 unpublished ostraca. |
