Note: the original Persou kai Tamostymeos (6520), also abbreviated as Persou, near the Paneion in the Wadi Hammamat seems to have moved in the early Roman period to the Wadi Fawakhir, where the settlement retained the name Persou (II) (2837); in the double name Persou kai Tamostymeos the first element might refer to the bekhen quarries in the Wadi Hammamat, the second one to the mines (for various items) in the Wadi Fawakhir
