Provenance: Tebtynis (Umm el-Baragat) - Egypt (EgyptThe Egyptian nome ca. 3rd cent. BC - AegyptusThe Roman provincia ca. 2nd cent. AD) [found & written]
Language/script: Demotic
Material: papyrus
Incompletely preserved
Book form: sheet; number of lines per page: 12
Content (beta!): scientific, medical, prescriptions
Culture & genre: science — medicine, pharmacy (religion: Egyptian)
Recto/Verso: Ro, back: blank
Reuse note: Complicated reuse. Perhaps the present and quite short text was written on a strip of papyrus cut vertically from a roll or sheet (the kind of strip often used for letters), so that the surface that bears the demotic, written along the fibres, might be an original Vo surface. A reuse would be possible in this case.
Note: red ink rubrics at the beginning of two prescriptions
