TM Academy

Why TM Academy?

Trismegistos is a house with many doors, and for the non-initiated it may be difficult to choose how to access its information. Even those who are more familiar with the portal may not have had the opportunity to discover all of the search facilities and possibilities it offers.

To get you up to speed with everything TM offers, we periodically organize workshops. Since TM is too big to cover in one session, however, they will be organized thematically, more or less revolving around a specific TM database, or catered to a particular audience (epigraphers, papyrologists, ...). Below you can find a list of upcoming workshops with a link to register, as well as an overview of past workshops to get an idea of what we offer. If you would like to discuss the option of a workshop tailored to your specific needs (e.g. for your research group, your students, etc), please contact Mark Depauw through the icon in the footer at the bottom of the page.

If you would like to discover TM on your own but are not sure how to get started, we also offer some video tutorials. Below is a list of questions TM can provide an answer for, with a video explaining how to proceed. Some of these questions TM can currently not answer very well, but we have included these to warn users what kind of information they can expect.

You can now also download the report of the TM poll of March 12 2020 here. Once the new TM Forum is up, the Q&A in this report will be moved to the forum.
