For the correct display of Greek, Coptic and Demotic scripts, we use both unicode (in the full-text village descriptions) and IFAO fonts (in the database records). For unicode scripts, you only need to use a unicode-compatible brwoser; all recent versions of Internet Explorer (versions 5, 6 and 7) on Windows XP/Vista, all versions of Firefox (Win XP/Vista and Mac OS X) and of Safari (Win XP/Vista or Mac OS X) support unicode and should normally render the pages correctly.
In the database, we use IFAO fonts (non-unicode) for Greek, Coptic and Demotic; information on where to download and how to use/install these fonts may be found here.
